The second edition of Debra Hart May’s Everyday Letters for Busy People will be published this fall by Career Press, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.

Lynn Hanson received a 2002 Excellence in Writing Award from the Association for Communication Consultants.

Lee Clark Johns, Strategic Communication Inc., Tulsa, OK, led an initiative to monitor the advancement of women in the workplace. The Benchmark Project of the Tulsa Chapter of Women in Communications (AWC) studied how women were faring in moving into higher positions and what family-friendly policies and programs were in place in area organizations. Pam Scott, Armstrong Scott Network, Atlanta, is launching Communicate With Success, a tutoring program offered through Dress for Success. Dress for Success outfits needy women for job interviews, then supports them through the Professional Women’s Group. Pam will work with members of that group to improve their written and oral communication skills.
